President of Korea visits Prague

On her way back from the environmental summit in Paris, the President of the Korean Republic Ms Park Geun-hye also made a stop in Prague.

On 2 December, she visited the historical auditorium of the Empire of Puppets to attend a performance of the Czech-Korean Puzzle Theatre and the Arirang Chamber Orchestra led by Kim Seong Jin. The theatre, active both in Prague and Seoul, is led by the Korean director and playwright Suho Moon, a graduate of KALD DAMU’s stage design programme, and the composer, musician and puppeteer Jan Klas. At the end of the meeting, President Park Geun-Hye commended the tradition of Czech puppetry.
