The exhibition titled Three Perspectives of Czech Puppet Theatre curated by Nina Malíková and Martina Černá, which provides a brief but representative overview of the rich tradition and varied present of Czech puppet theatre, was first presented to the public at the Performing Arts Market in Seoul in October 2015 as part of the representation of the Czech Republic.

Dominika Špalková, Tomáš Žižka a Ondrej Spišák have been selected by the jury of the Theatre Newspaper Prize as winners in the Puppet and Visual Theatre category for the ambitious Labyrinth of the World and Paradise of the Heart at DRAK Theatre, Hradec Králové.

From 4 to 9 October, puppets dominated the city of Ostrava during the 11th biannual international festival Spectaculo interesse organised by the Theatre of Puppets Ostrava. This edition featured artists from three continents and eleven countries – Canada, Israel, France, Spain, Finland, Slovenia, Hungary, Germany, Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The festival Grand Prix was awarded to Zigmund Follies by the world-famous Compagnie Philippe Genty.
